John Tucker Must Die: C-
Unoriginal down to it's roots. Filled with witless lines and an even worse ending and with characters that are likeable but (of course) get squat. Plus the whole thong thing is taken waaaay too far. This teen revenge fantasy stars a likeable cast that includes the fun Jesse Metcalf as the titular character, the acid witted Sophia Bush reprising her Brooke role from the WB, and a ironically funny little cameo by the hot hot hot Jenny Mcarthy plus a story that everyone wishes they could carry out at one point or another: take down the local playboy. The performances are lose and fresh and you may even laugh alittle here or there. The problem with this movie is the script. It's awful, completely and utterly senseless. And the ending may just leave you scratching your head (and rubbing your stomach). Still, I liked it. Guilty pleasure? You bet.
